Adyghe Khase leader in Adygeya isn’t changed

In Adygeya a sitting of the council of the organization “Adyghe Khase” (about it we had informed earlier) but there was no application for resignation of the chairman of the organization Askhad Chirg who had wanted to submit it. In the beginning of the sitting when he declared the agenda and mentioned a personnel question among the other ones, yet there was no quorum which could decide it. Then, when during the session the quorum was formed –the late members of the council appeared – the chairman did not consider it necessary to return to the question about his resignation.

Malicious voices name the reason for such behaviour of the chairman is that – ostensibly, he was straightened out "in time" by someone with “high authority": ‘not you, and we shall define when you leave’.

In the beginning of the sitting the chairman of the organization pointed that though during the campaign on promotion of the future Adygeya president the organization expressed its support of then the Adygeya president Khazret Sovmen (not unanimously, but the majority); today, when his opponent – Aslancheriy Tkhakushinov had won, they should send to the address of the winner a congratulation and state their readiness for cooperation. That offer was met with the common understanding.

At the session they had considered other questions, first of which was disagreement with the verdict of the Supreme court of Adygeya cancelling position of the law on education for obligatory learning by the Adygeyan children their native language. They decided to address to the Adygeya president with corresponding statement.

They also discussed the question about slot machines, which despite of interdiction and corresponding official reports of the Office of Public Prosecutor (on struggle against offences), continue to work in the town centre. The Office of Public Prosecutor, they noted at the sitting, should make due effort to eradication of that phenomenon, instead of protecting Adygs from "discrimination" from the obligatory learning their native language.

All that as a whole would be, certainly, very ridiculous if it did not cause crying.
