On first day of anniversary in Maykop there was nothing celebratory 

During the first holiday within the framework of the 450-th anniversary of Adygeya’s voluntary association with Russia only two measures passed. They were visiting constant exposition "Culture and Life of Adygs: Traditions and Innovations" in the republican National museum and the opening of the exhibition of pieces of arts and representational and decorative - applied art in the Art gallery of the Ministry of culture.

In the museum, besides officials and journalists, to the fixed time (11.00 a.m.) a group of schoolboys came. Concerning their appearance the director of the museum Almir Abregov said to the journalists that he welcomes in every possible way children’s visiting the museum. He used to go in his childhood from far aul to the town, aspired to get in the museum, whence left with deep impressions. What the child receives in childhood remains with him for all his life.

The Art gallery (at 3.00 p.m.) on the same day was not very crowded, too. 4 men of militia walked around nearby entrance, as inside there were several officials, a lot of the journalists and some authors of the exhibited pictures. According to the director of the gallery Abdulah Bersirov, the pictures with the brightest national colour, had been selected earlier for sending to Moscow. There in the Art gallery they exposed what remained.

Whether people really have decided to ignore the holiday, probably, it will get clearer today. The performance under the story "Shapsug’s Daughter" of the classic of Adygeyan literature Tembot Kerashev is planned for tonight. The story is remarkable, the performance, probably, would be the same, too. The only thing what could cause some abuse of the action is that it is dated for such celebrating.
