In several cities of the European states meetings of representatives of the Abkhazian-Abadzin Diaspora of the European countries with the chairman of the Committee on foreign affairs of the parliament of Republic of Abkhazia Guram Gumba took place.
G. Gumba informed the representatives of the Diaspora about political, economic and cultural life in Abkhazia, the Georgian-Abkhazian negotiation process, problems the republic faced on its way of progress and further prospects of its development. The deputy of Abkhazian parliament answered numerous questions of his compatriots.
The representatives of the Diaspora, in their turn, informed the deputy about the situation in the countries of Abkhazes’ residing, about their success and problems, the Diaspora collides with. The participants of the Crisis Committee of 1992-1993 Ozkan Tarba, Alaatin Kupalba, Kyrghyz Adjanba and Zeki Kapba (member of the executive Committee of the MAAN) told about difficulties of that time and the unity of the Diaspora with the people of Abkhazia. About it the journalists were informed by the plenipotentiary of the Ministry for foreign affairs of Abkhazia in Germany Hibla Amichba.
The compatriots expressed their satisfaction in relation to becoming stronger contacts to the native land and hope for their expansion, as well as readiness to assist the people and the leadership of Abkhazia in information-propaganda activities in the countries of Europe. With that purpose the Abkhazian-Abadzin Diaspora of Western Europe had created "Abkhazian Information-Cultural Centre of Europe" (AIKZE), the Committee of the Centre will be situated in Düsseldorf (Germany). It is headed by representative of the Diaspora Muharrey Tambiy.
