May 21 is the Day of memory and grief of Adygeyan people for Circassians of Israel since 2008 becomes a day off. Such decision is adopted on April 6 of the present year by the Government Committee of Israel on memorable and holidays.
"This memorial by the inhabitants of two Adygeyan settlements – Kfar-Kama and Rihanija – had been commemorated earlier, - the director of the Internet-agency "AdygeaNatPress" Ali Bghane told “Caucasian unit" correspondent. - The last year, for example, under the program made by the municipal Khases of our two settlements, the mourning measures were spent in Kfar-Kama. This month Rihanija prepares to meet grieving people".
As he said, decision to address to the Government of Israel was adopted on the day of realization of the last measures. Between Kfar-Kama and Rihanija there are about 80 kilometers, and it makes some difficulty for many working and living Circassians, for example, in a settlement, where the measure would not be organized. That was also the problem for those Adygs of Israel, who had moved off to the other settlements.
But it is especially difficult, he noted, for children. There are about 1000 schoolboys in the two Adygeyan settlements of Israel.
"The tradition to organize this measure together in one of the villages appeared naturally, - the interlocutor explained. - You see all inhabitants of Kfar-Kama and Rihanija, in some way isolated from the external world, became close relatives".
