Adygeya prepares to receive refugees from Southern Ossetia

Adygeya president Aslan Tkhakushinov held on August, 9 a sitting with the members of republican government in relation to the question of reception of the refugees from the war actions zone of the Georgian-Southern-Ossetian. “Caucasian unit” correspondent reported referring to the republican president press-service.

At the sitting A. Tkhakushinov said that the apparatus of the plenipotentiary of the Russian president in the SFD Vladimir Ustinov sent a plan of reception of 500 refugees from Southern Ossetia. “We must work out in every detail the refugees reception timetable and appoint in our ministries and other state institutions persons responsible for the peace inhabitants from the brotherly republic”, - the leader of the republic underlined.

As he mentioned, they should strengthen the works on registration of the refugees to make simpler their further searches of the relatives. They should be ready for that the republic would organize teaching of the children of the refugees from the beginning of the schooling year.

The prime-minister of Adygeya Murat Kumpilov reported Aslan Tkhakushinov that Adygeya if needed could receive even more refugees. “I the sanatorium “Caucasus” there could be moved in over 150 people, in the joint stock company “Adygeyatourist” – 190 and in the tourist base – 170 people”, - he said.

The chief of the Main management of the Ministry of Russia on emergency situations and struggle with disasters across Adygeya Murat Gunazhokov said that the Ministry would organize the information service and the telephone ‘hotline’.

The minister of public health of the republic Muhamed Borsov said that for convoying of the buses with the refugees there are 27 groups of the medicine of catastrophes ready to go.

In the end of the sitting for working out of all the possible situations it was formed a staff headed by the premier-minister of Adygeya.

Let’s note, some time earlier Adygeya president had acted in the local mass-media with the statement concerned the situation around the Georgian-Southern-Ossetian conflict. “I entirely support the steps, made by Russian president Dmitry Medvedev for protection of lives and dignity of Russian citizens”, - it was said in particular in it.

It was also stated that “Adygeya Republic if needed is ready to offer our helping hand and to receive the refugees from Southern Ossetia”.

On August, 9 in Maykop an extraordinary session of the State Soviet-Khasa of Adygeya Republic at which as it is expected it should be adopted a statement condemning the Georgian invasion to Southern Ossetia, too.
