Social movement “Adyghe Khasa” of Adygeya Republic had addressed to KBR president Arsen Kanokov with its concern in occasion of the aggravation of the situation about the land question. Such appeal was also directed to public prosecutors of KBR and the SFD. NatPress publishes the appeal to the leader of the republic in full.
THE APPEAL
Social movement “Adyghe Khasa” of Adygeya Republic is anxious with the developing situation in the republic of Kabardino-Balkaria where debates concerned the question on the lands, spent for a long time, have got the strained form.
Not agreed with the methods of implementation of the federal law as well as the document on the land tenure the social movements “Khasa” and “Circassian congress” have tried to organize repeated meeting on December, 5th (the first had been spent on November, 17th 2009) to inform up the state structures and the population about its vision of resolution of the vital problem.
However such step faced a fierce resistance of the certain circles of the republic. So, on November, 30th this year a group of persons beat the leaders of "Circassian congress” Ruslan Keshev and active worker Elberd Bor. A week later (12/05/2009) a gangster attack against the head of “Khasa” movement Ibrahim Yaganov was organized.
Last time the leaders and members of the other civil institutes, as well as intelligency of the republic are suffered with pressure. Such illegal destructive actions concerning the public organizations and their leaders from whom they proceeded, not only are inadmissible in any subject of Russian Federation, but are also an open call to initiatives of president Dmitry Medvedev concerned the process of putting in order in the country.
We hope that official state structures would arrange on revealing and punishment of the criminals, trying to destabilize the situation in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
With hope for positive reaction and understanding of our concern,
Tkhamada of “Adyghe Khasa” of Adygeya Republic executive committee
