In Adygheisk town Day of Circassian flag was celebrated with hitch, too

On April, 25th in the town of Adygheisk the celebrating day of Circassian flag passed. As well as in the capital of the republic, it was with a small hitch, too, as the procession planned beforehand did not take place - because of the application submitted to the law enforcement bodies at the wrong time. That, certainly, caused some corrective amendments in the plans of the action, but nevertheless the celebrating took place.

The organizers of the celebration of the Day of Adygeyan flag became the youth wing of Adyghe Khasa” of Adygheisk. Active workers of the Khasa Arthur Abid and Baizet Tkhagapso on horses rode from Psekups farm up to the town of Adygheisk.

The way of the horsemen passed onto a small site of the federal line Don М4, and already in the town they stopped at the stone to the victims of the Russian-Caucasian war. Therefrom they had planned to form a procession up to the town centre. But in connection with the changes they were waited only by a small amount of town dwellers. Having made a tribute of the memory of the victims in the bloody war, the horsemen went up to Adygheisk’s center.

Having told the gathered at the House of culture (by the way, there was only youth there, too) about the history of the Circassian national flag, the organizers arranged Adyghe Djegu. The organizers of the celebrating are grateful to the head of the Adygheisk administration Nalbiy Gatagu for his understanding and support, as well to businessman Khizir Psheuch - for the assistance he made.

But, unfortunately, still not all the Adygs (Circassians) totally realize the whole importance of this day. Nevertheless, the Circassian flag is the state symbol of Adygeya Republic, and it should be carried proudly!
