Statement of Kuban Adygs concerned Circassian people’s congress of KCR

The statement of the Krasnodar regional public organization “Adyghe Khasa” of Adygeya regional public organization for recreation of national traditions of Adygeyan (Circassian) people “Adyghe Khasa”

On June, 5th, 2010 in Cherkessk an extraordinary Circassian people’s congress of KCR took place. At the congress it was adopted a decision about recreation of Circassian autonomous area in the status of republic in the structure of Russian Federation. It was also prepared an address to all the Circassians (Adygs) of Russia to be solidary in supporting the decisions of the extraordinary Circassian people’s congress of KCR about recreation of Circassian autonomous area in the status of republic in the structure of Russian Federation.

In this connection the Krasnodar region public organization “Adyghe Khasa”, Adygeya regional public organization for recreation of national traditions of Adygeyan (Circassian) people “Adyghe Khasa” express again their extreme anxiety in relation to the present social-political situation in Karachaevo-Circassian Republic. We call the plenipotentiary of the President of Russian Federation in the Nothern-Caucasian federal district A.G. Khloponin to estimate in the objective way the opportunities of the KCR president B.S. Ebzeev to stabilize the social-political situation in Karachaevo-Circassian Republic.

We call the leaders of Circassian people of KCR to act in the framework of the Russian Constitution, the Constitution of KCR. We call the public, the state bodies of Krasnodar region, Adygeya Republic, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Stavropol territory to assist in all the possible ways in the process of stabilization of the social-political situation in Karachaevo-Circassian Republic. We call the expert community of Russian Federation to work out recommendations on stabilization of the social-political situation in Karachaevo-Circassian Republic.

We call the President of the International Circassian Assosiation K.M. Azhahov to initiate meetings of the Circassian organizations of the Diaspora with the plenipotentiary of the President of Russian Federation in the Nothern-Caucasian federal district A.G. Khloponin, the leadership of Karachaevo-Circassian Republic, leaders of the public organizations of KCR in order to stabilize the social-political situation in Karachaevo-Circassian Republic.
