August 7 this year, the Circassian internet user Teshuko E.V. sent a letter to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. "On 24 July 2011, when viewing the site of the Administration of Krasnodar Region, I was discovered information that insulted and humiliated my honor and dignity as a person who professes the Islam religion, and as a devout Muslim" - the statement says.
Adopted and approved in 1995 the text of the anthem of the Krasnodar region is written in 1914 by a clergyman Cossack regiment Konstantin Obraztsov, which when processed by Zakharchenko using folk melodies and was performed during the Russian-Turkish war enjoyed great popularity.
The hymn is saying that the Cossacks have always fought and will fight against their main enemy - "busurman" those are Muslims.
