3 rd year student of environmental Maikop State University faculty Aslambek Pshihachev became the champion of the 6th Eurasian Open Championship in powerlifting and bench press WPC / AWPC (men and women, all ages, in gear and without equipment), which was held from 12 to 14 August in Kursk .
The championship was attended by about 400 strongest athletes from Russia, Europe and the world. As a result of all races on the amount of points he became the absolute champion among juniors (18-19 years) in the weight category 75 kg and took I place on the bench press, "People's bench" and the II place in powerlifting.
"This victory is not easy. In the weight category 75 kg Junior were serious competitors from neighboring countries. Tough fight for the leadership reinforced the strict refereeing. Aslambek have been many attempts, many of them are not counted. And yet the victory was absolute," - said the Head of the Department of Physical Education, Vitaly Svechkarev, adding that Aslambey did not relax even once - in front of the athlete preparing for World Cup to be held in Russia this winter.
According to V. Svechkareva, this sport Aslambek Pshihachev engaged less than a year, but he a good physique, and, of course, moral courage and determination helped him become the champion of Eurasia.
