The regular sitting of the State Soviet-Khase of Adygeya Republic where the head of the region Aslan Tkhakushinov was entrusted with the highest official powers of the republic for his second term, took place on December, 12.
As it had been noted earlier, on December, 7 the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, in accordance with his constitutional authority, approved the nomination of Tkhakushinov for his reassignment as the head of Adygeya. According to the legislation in relation to the issue of empowering the head of the region there must be a procedure of the secret ballot. As a result, the results of the protocol were as follows: 45 votes "for" and 2 votes "against".
Then the Chairman of the State Soviet-Khase of Adygeya Republic signed a decree conferring the authority of the head for Aslan Tkhakushinov.
"We have a lot of work to do. I want to reassure the Russian president Dmitry Medvedev, the Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and the Russian presidential envoy in the Southern Federal District Vladimir Ustinov that I will do my best to justify their high confidence", Aslan Tkhakushinov said.
At the sitting they also considered the appointment Vasily Poslovsky who previously had served as the deputy prosecutor in Tula region as the Public prosecutor of Adygeya. The republican deputies approved the decision on his appointment and approved Poslovsky as the public prosecutor of the region.
