Innovator from Nalchik Jury Khamukov invented first-ever robot-combine for juicy fruits’ cropping

The scientist-innovator from Nalchik Jury Khamukov (on the photo -at the left) engineered the first-ever robot-combine, for harvesting “in one contact’ fruits, vegetables, berries, sweet corn (which all over the world is cropped manually) without any damage to juicy fruits, - sk-news.ru reported. His inventions were exhibited at the opened in Nalchik on December, 6th Second North-Caucasian Innovative Forum SKIF-2.
“The Robot is equipped with sensitive working bodies in the form of a trunk with internal transport channel, it can orientate on its own, in grounds of leaves and stalks identifies and collects, in particular, soil cucumbers, tomatoes, strawberry, not damaging plants and not condensing the soil”, the senior scientific employee of the Kabardino-Balkarian center of the Russian Academy of Science Jury Khamukov explained. The need for that technics releasing people from wearisome works, is estimated in hundred millions units. Besides after replacing some modules the robot can be used not only at harvesting, but also in plants landing and planting.
Attention was also attracted by earthquake-resistant frame houses constructed in 3 months, with cost of one square meter of habitation at average parameters of interior spaces 10 thousand roubles.
The factory "Telemechanics"/Nalchik/ presented the anti-vandal light-emitting diode street fixtures powered from solar batteries which do not demand expenses for electric power and transmission lines and pay off for a year of their exploitation. They also represented electronic information boards for transport stops, informing about arrival time of the next route depending on real conditions. The representative of "Telemechanics" Vladimir Makridov answered a question about the idle traffic lights on Lenin's prospectus in Nalchik saying that those traffic lights had no owner. “They were fixed there by a firm from St.-Petersburg, but nobody serves them now”, Makridov noted. He told that in Stavropol on the basis of the traffic lights of "Telemechanics" the control system of motor transport movement which, if needed, can also be created in KBR capital was organized.
The factory of composit materials (Nalchik) exposed pipes of various diameters for lining of communications which do not rust and can almost eternally be in the ground.
“There are more than a hundred advanced development projects presented. Since December, 6 till December, 8th scientists, manufacturers, potential investors and representatives of the state authority from the regions of Northern Caucasus, Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, as well as Germany, Norway, China, the USA, the Ukraine and Kazakhstan will search for ways of integration of the science, business and authority”, one of the organizers of the forum passing at the KBR government support, the head of techno-park "Telemechanics" Aslan Bitokov told.
Within the limits of the youth platform, organized by KBR Youth government, discussion of the theme “Youth as a Catalyst of Innovative Economy of the NCFD” took place. Projects of Youth KBR government in the sphere of innovative business were presented, as well as reports of representatives of the regions of the federal district were heard; the forum’s participants were handed with diplomas (see the photo gallery).
Participants of the forum were welcomed by the chairman of KBR government Ivan Gerter and heads of the profile ministries.
The First North-Caucasian Innovative Forum one year ago had gathered in Nalchik over a hundred representatives from the 15 regions of Russia, as well as Germany and the Ukraine. At the forum they presented over 80 innovative projects, cooperation agreements in the innovative sphere were signed.
