Shovgenovsky district court (Adygeya) pronounced a verdict on criminal case of N.D. Gonezhukov, ex-director of "Poultry farmer" Shovgenovsky" unitary municipal agricultural enterprise. He was recognized guilty in committing a crime considered by the Criminal Code of Russia, part 2 and 3 as well as article 160. 3 years of imprisonment in the colony of the common regime is the punishment for appropriation and expenditure of state property in large scales committed with using of official position.

The hearing of that case lasted for about a year and a half. The main accusation was connected with the fact that Nalby Gonezhukov, being director of the poultry farm, had persuaded the district administration to sell on profitable conditions 3807 ton 950 kg of food wheat – the whole reserve of the district which was valued at that moment 3, 875 thousand rubles. He returned in the district budget 1, 420 thousand rubles. The rest of the money according to his words was spent for development of the farm entrusted to him. However in force-major circumstances hens bought with that money had died.

It must be reminded that the point is about the ruined farm which had been reconstructed and reanimated by Adygs from Jordan a few years ago. The enterprise was developing dynamically till 2002 when the investors’ group and their executive director were suggested to get out in exchange a promise of returning a quarter of a million dollars spent by them for the enterprise’s reanimation. The money hadn’t been yet returned but that is another hearing in Shovgenovsky district court.
