  Peasant farm "Muskat" (Adygeya) masters Russian market by means of Internet

 

Peasant farm "Muskat" is one of the best conversional enterprises of Maykopsky district of Adygeya and is among the first three leaders of taxes payments to the budget. Founded 10 years ago on 300 hectares of plough-land that farm growing wheat and rye began working with collection and converting of apples from old abundant apple gardens.

Apple mash produced by "Muskat" farm is the main product that shows a profit. Its production is sold all over the country but Moscow confectionary "Udarnitsa" remains the main customer of the enterprise as it uses that mash for marshmallow producing. 

The staff of the enterprise is not numerous for about 70 men are employed in it and during the season they are over 100. In its leadership opinion one of the serious reasons of their success is an active work with Internet where the firm had have its own web site during 5 years. Internet is also the place where the firm looks for its new business partners and regulates its values according to the market as well as does many other things.

Last year within the season the firm had converted 5.000 tons of apples 70 per cent of which had been bought in the neighboring farms. Two years ago "Muskat" began planting young gardens which nowadays have occupied almost a half of the territory of the farm. At the same time a conversional department formed as a separate firm "Umeks" a few years ago has been still exceeding.

Now reconstruction is on there they plan 10 per cent increasing of production volumes. In the nearest plans of the firm is producing a new product an apple jam.

On 160 hectares of the rest of the plough-land they plant for sell wheat and barley. This year they bought also new sorts of corn seeds distinctive feature of which is green tops very good for cattle feeding. The farm s prospects include also a stock-breeding development so they are going to buy till the end of this year 500 sheep.
