  A seminar “Education as a basis of steady wildlife management” began its work in Adygeya

 

In Maykop state technological university (MSTU) the opening the seminar “Education as a basis of steady wildlife management” which prolongs during 3 days took place on April, 6. It is held within the framework of the joint European project, rights of participation in which from Russia the Institute of geography of Russian Academy of Science and MSTU have achieved. 

Realization of the project began in November of the last year, it is planned continue 3 years, and the seminar in Adygeya is the first one in it. It is planned also that that action would set some direction of the further activity to this group of scientists and “will allow building up bridges to lead similar or any more expanded actions in other regions”. 

The basic purpose of the project is educational one. Scientists of German, Austrian and Russian universities set the task - to generalize and systematize the worked out experience of landscape management. According to the words of the head of German delegation Eve Haker, in Adygeya the purpose is put “to unit engineering biology with park construction and forestry”. 

The scientists will examine coastal defenses on Belaya River; will get acquainted to landscapes of Adygeya. The professors and teaches of the faculty will also discuss the maintenance of the book “Engineering biology and applied landscape planning” which will be published by results of a seminar in 2 languages - Russian and German.
