Gardening in Adygeya has suffered most of all from recent frosts

Sowing summer had been suspended in Adygeya after a sharp cold snap. Now the agricultural works are renewed again. Meanwhile according to the plan of sowing for the areas almost in 90 thousand hectares by April, 6 sowing is done only on 3, 5 thousand hectares. Days when the column of the thermometer was below zero mark, agricultural workers used for preparation soil to the sowing.

Top-dressing of winter crops proceeds also. Ammoniac saltpeter had been already brought on 75 per cent of the areas. Struggle against weeds is started in parallel also. So-called chemical weeding had been done on more than 1 per cent of planned areas.

In the Ministry of agriculture of Adygeya it was asserted that sharp downturn of temperature had not affected in any way on not yet come out summer crops and will have rather insignificantly affected quality of winter crops. The frost was pernicious for the gardens which have blossomed by then. However the losses put to gardening of Adygeya meanwhile are impossible to be counted up.
