The joint-stock company “Agrocomplex” Giaginsky” which in recent times was called as a feeding department, today has a milk herd. At the farm there are about 2 thousand heads of large horned livestock totally. Its milk herd has 350 cows. 100 cows of the French breed form its elite. However the cows brought from Moscow suburbs and Karachaevo-Circassia which are 70 per cent of the herd give high milk yields too. Now their daily milk yields are 15-16 kg of milk. When they completely adapt for local conditions and fodders their milk yields should rise up to 25-26 kg, as they hope at the farm. 

As the head of the farm Ibragim Khabakhu told, there are no more such feeding departments in Adygeya at present. In Krasnodar territory there are 6-7 of them. 

At the agricultural enterprise breeding work is conducted. Mixed fodder is still purchased; regional factories, as well as the feeding department had been stopped this year because of the lack of grain. By this autumn these problems the farm is going to solve independently. It had already sown more than 100 hectares of winter crops and 500 hectares of corn.
