Today Kabardino-Balkaria government has confirmed the sum of payments to its population for voluntary delivered arms and ammunition. Decision on that affair was signed by the chairman of republican government Gennady Gubin. Voluntary delivering liberates citizens of criminal responsibility for purchase and keeping of arms. And militia is obliged to provide their confidence.

For one piece of fire-arms they appointed the payment of 2.000 rubles, for sports-arms or hunting arms – 1, 5.000 rubles, for smooth-barreled arms, mines, and every kg of explosive substances they would pay 1.000 rubles.

The financial source of the payments was determined to be republican centralized out-of-budget fund “Legal order”. That special operation is being held for the purpose of preventing illegal arms turnover. At the same time according to militia’s data in Kabardino-Balkaria 3647 men have an arms license.
