In the North-Caucasian department of the State Oriental museum situated in Adygeya capital the opening of the exhibition “Apsny – the land of spirit in the works of Abkhazian painters” took place on April, 13. In the staff of the delegation from brotherly republic the Abkhazian minister of culture Leonid Enik, the chairman of the Union of Abkhazian painters Vitaly Djenia and others arrived in Adygeya.

On the eve of the opening of the exhibition the delegation was received by the prime minister of Adygeya Khazret Khuade who underlined during the conversation the importance of strengthening creative connections between republics in spite of all difficulties of political situation around Abkhazia.

In the ceremony of the opening the exhibition representatives of legislative and executive authorities, creative intellectuals, students of higher educational institutes of Adygeya took part. During the ceremony they noticed that for last 10 years the possibility of demonstrating their art out of republic for Abkhazian painters appeared at the first time. It may be added that the exhibition practically has not works of art reflected fight actions. On the canvases of the painters there are nature of their native country, wise faces of old men, and the beauty of the young generation.
