Conflict in Jordan regulated; life resumed its natural course
The Minister of the Inner Affairs of Jordan Samir al-Habashni held a meeting with Wadisir Adygs who have influence among the inhabitants of the district as well as with representatives of the Palestinian Keisie clan the youth of which had recently attacked Wadisir. As a result of the meeting the total settling down of the conflict was achieved. Recently “al-Jil-al-Jadtd” ensemble belonged to Adygeyan youth club with the same name had taken part in the annual festival of song and dance in Jarash town. Now “al-Jil-al-Jadtd” youth club has been preparing to holding an exhibition of art and cultural articles of Adygs in Jordan capital Amman. The exhibition is planned to be organized in the club’s building. Besides, “al-Jil-al-Jadtd” youth club has renewed printing of “Our Voice” bulletin which hadn’t been published for a number of last years. For now only one number had been printed; the club plans to make it monthly. The edition’s e-mail address is opened too - dimaq@adiga.com. During last time the public cultural magazine “Nart” – printing organ of Jordan central “Adyghe Khase” - has been criticized more and more frequently. The basic reproach to it is caused by non-observance of regularity of its printing. As its readers consider the fault for it falls on the chief editor and the editorial board. Next month Jarash town “Adyghe Khase” plans to hold exhibition-for-sale of the articles of Adygeyan crafts and art trade. Received money according to its organizers would be spent to construction of a new building for the town Khase. Jordan central “Adyghe Khase” forms a group of Adygs for sending to Adygeya, Karachaevo-Circassia, Black Sea Shapsugia and Kabardino-Balkaria. The goal of the trip is a tourist one as well as acquaintance with their historic Motherland.
