Adygeya congratulates judo wrestler Khasanby Taov with “bronze”
A congratulatory telegram for 26-years old judo wrestler Khasanby Taov (90 kg weight), the prize-winner of the Olympic Games in Greece was sent by Adygeya president Khazret Sovmen on August, 19. In the telegram in particular it was spoken: “Being a bright pupil of the distinguished teachers Magomed Emkuzhev and Khazret Tletzeri, a worthy representative of Adygeya republican school of high sport skills, owing to daily stubborn trainings, permanent self-improving and strengthening of spirit You have honourably acted at the Olympic tatami in Greece, having re-confirmed the high title of one of the best wrestlers of our planet”. That is not the first success of the sportsman: he is a three-fold judo champion of Russia and the silver prize-winner of European judo championship. At these Olympics among 6 test fights he had won 5, having lost only to the present Olympic champion – judo wrestler from Georgia Gvidauri. That’s what the republican journalists were told by the one of his trainers, the director of Adygeya republican school of high sport skills, non-one-fold Europe and world champion Khazret Tletzeri: “Khasanby came to Adygeya having left a school in Kabardino-Balkaria and entered Adygeya state university on the faculty of the physical training and judo institute. He was a master of sports then; you could easily see that he was a diligent guy and had a great potential. During his last fight at the Olympic Games he met with the world champion of the previous year judo wrestler from Korea. And Taov had taken that fight neatly. I’m proud of that he’s a pupil of our school”.
