    Sambo-wrestlers of Adygeya will take part in European competitions The combined team of Adygeya Republic on sambo-wrestling returned from the competitions of selection superiority on sambo-wrestling which had passed in the Novgorod area. The strongest sportsmen from all the regions of Russia annually take part in such selection competitions on sambo-wrestling. For the February superiority this time more than 300 fighters gathered. The combined team of Adygeya represented by 12 sportsmen and juniors, won during the tournament two prize-winning places.

    14 sambo-wrestlers from Adygeya won right to participate in finals of All-Russian Youth Championship Qualifying events of the SFD took place in Armavir. Traditionally the tournament brings together the strongest sambo-wrestlers of the south of the country. The task for every participant is to become the winner.
    Adygeya sambo team was represented in the tournament by 37 athletes - students of the Republican Children Youth School of the Olympic Reserve. The competition was held in the ten weight classes. In the adult weight up to 100 class and 100 kg class the winners were Adam Abazov and Islam Delok. Among the youth there were not winners from Adygeya, however, in the end on our team’s account 2 second and 10 third places appeared.
