At the festival of Caucasian culture in Turkey an ensemble of Adygeya "Islamey" was represented

The city Dyuzdzhe (Turkey) from 22 to 24 July, held a festival of Caucasian culture in which participation took dozens of creative teams of Turkey, Syria, Russia. Adygeya State represented the folk songs of the Republic of Adygeya "Islamey", which played in its trip a great enlightening and educative role.

To participate in the festival the "Islamey“ has been invited by “Adyghe Hase Kaf-Fed" (Ankara, Turkey). The delegation headed by Minister of Culture of Adygea Republic Gazy Chemso, who noted that Adygeya is actively involved in the cultural life of Turkey - Adyghe diaspora exists in many parts of the country, and its members are willing to join the culture of their homeland. And that the trip of "Islamey" had special meaning.

The ensemble took part in the festival and gave another two concerts in cities of Turkey - Adapazari, Ankara, that is, for three days, three concerts. To them, according to the soloists of the ensemble, people came from remote areas of Turkey, made the journey of 300 km.

Soloist of "Islamey" Saniyat Agerzhanokova told that the ensemble bears art which very few have in our Adygeyan world, it is confirmed by the words of people and their attitude towards us, and it's worth a lot. "Islamey" brought their national characteristic of universal creativity before: no matter where we were, our music is perceived no less than by the Circassians, if not better, "- said Aslan Nehaj.

According to him, it was nice to see that the audience knows the repertoire of "Islamey" in Turkey and they sang in the hall. "I saw guys singing and who can not speak their native language. He is Circassian and Adyg melody is in his heart feels. This is an achievement of "Islamey!” We are doing all the music for the national consciousness of the people, who are scattered all over the world," - said artistic director of the ensemble.

Ensemble members are hoping to visit again welcoming Turkey, where they were so warmly welcomed.
