On 11 November, 2011 in Istanbul in Sheraton hotel Minister on affairs of Diaspora of Georgia Mirza Davitaya, met several representatives of Circassian Diaspora of Turkey. Circassian Diaspora was represented by the ex-deputy from Bursa town Sheriff Birinch, doctor Nusret Vash, industrialist Abdullakh Teber, press-secretary of the movement “Initiative for Circassian Rights” Habradju Murat Ozden and a group of about twenty men.
At the meeting there were also representatives of Patriots of Circassia, H’uade Adnan, Semih Akgiun, Eshref Bash, Kube Nurhan Fidan and Djan Bash.
The Minister on affairs of Diaspora of Georgia Mirza Davitaya shared with the gathered the information concerning to the monument devoted to the Circassian Genocide which construction is planned in the city of Anakliya. Davitaya also noted that the Center of Circassian Culture which had opened in Tbilisi became the true home for all the Circassians. He emphasized that the documents concerned the Genocide should be sent the parliaments of all the countries of the World to fix that question in the agenda of their activities. The meeting lasted for an hour and a half, all its participants expressed the Minister their common satisfaction connected with recognition by Georgia the Circassian Genocide. They mentioned that the developing positive relations between Circassian and Georgian peoples would bring the powerful contribution to peace preservation in the whole region.
At the meeting the General Consul of Georgia in Istanbul and other employees of the consulate also participated.
