The deputy of Europarliament from the "Green" party of Germany, ethnic Adyg Jem Ozdemir was declared a participant of II the international scientific-practical conference "Prospects of Development of Specially Protected Natural Territories and Tourism in Northern Caucasus", which is held on October 23-25 of this year in Maykop.
About it “Caucasian unit" correspondent was informed by one of the organizers of the conference the head of the Maykop town branch of the All-Russia nature protection society Valeriy Brinih. As he said, the purpose of the conference is analysis of experience, problems and prospects of development of the specially protected natural territories (SPNT), and tourism in the Northern Caucasus.
The work of the conference will be organized on the six basic directions, he said. Including so emergent today as "Plans of economic development and potential threats to preservation of the wild nature in Northern Caucasus", "Role of public organizations and local population in development of tourism and nature protection".
The organizers of the forum are the Union of nature protection of Germany (NABU), the International social-ecological union, the Green League of Germany, the Caucasian state natural bio-sphere nature reserve.
"The Organizing Committee has accepted 194 applications at present, - Valeriy Brinih added, - As to the deputy of Europarliament, he, according to the application, should be accompanied by a representative of Circassian Diaspora of Germany Abulla Ozdemir.
