May 4. In the interval of 4 and 5 a.m. of Moscow time by the anti-aircraft defence forces in the sky above Abkhazia there were broken down two pilotless spy jets of Georgian Armed Forces. The first jet was broken down above the settlement Dihazurga of Gali area at 04.06 a.m. of Moscow time, the second - above village Bargiab at 04.51 a.m. of Moscow time. The official representative of the president of Abkhazia in MASS-MEDIA Christian Bzhania informed about it "Apsnypress".
According to Bzhania, by virtue of the serious aggravation of the situation in relation to separation of the parties, there was announced increased battle readiness in the units and divisions of the Armed Forces of Abkhazia. The special forces were sent for security of the air space of Abkhazia.
The commander-in-chief of the Abkhazian army, president Sergey Bagapsh had been on his workplace. He gave the order to liquidate any targets breaking the air space of the republic, Bzhania informed. Searching of fragments of the pilotless flying devices is conducted. Sergey Bagapsh invited the major-general Sergey Chaban – the commander-in-chief of the CIS Collective forces and let him know about the happened incident.
Earlier the anti-aircraft defence and the Armed Forces of Abkhazia had already broken down two Georgian pilotless spy jets – on March 18 and April 20.
