In Prague the international symposium on ethnic music passed. In it the correspondent of the state TV-radio company "Adygeya" Svetlana Kushu and ethno-musicologist Alla Sokolova participated. They presented a film about the dancing culture of Adygs, who came back from Kosovo.
"They lost the dance, but still remained Adygs", - the picture about Adygs of Kosovo who appeared on Balkan begins with such words. In the 43-minute picture the parallel of growing of the culture abroad and on the historical native land was made.
Working above the film in the co-authorship with ethno-musicologist Alla Sokolova, they shot five interesting fragments of the dancing culture of Adygs that appeared to be saved, living in Kosovo.
35 participants from 23 countries told how the small peoples resist cultural assimilation. Especially, Gypsies. By the way, the scientific symposium was organized within the framework of the International forum of Gipsy culture.
