Authorities of Kabardino-Balkaria try to resolve the energy crisis as a result of which the capital of republic Nalchik remains without water and heat during two days. As the press-secretary of the Caucasian Energy Operating Company Gennady Vyhristjuk informed IА REGNUM correspondent, negotiations between the prime minister of Kabardino-Balkaria Gennady Gubin and the general director of the Open Society "CEOC" Magomet Kaitov appeared to be ineffectual.
"The debts of "Nalchik electric systems" only in 2005 made 124 million rubles. We cannot buy for Nalchik electric power with our own money. And in the negotiations the Kabardino-Balkarian party does not do not speak about pay-offs before the New Year. Without this condition the decision on connecting "Nalchik electric systems" could be only made by the head of the Russian Open Society "United Power Systems" Anatoly Chubays, - told the CEOC press-secretary in his interview to IА REGNUM.
According to Gennady Vyhristjuk, CEOC had already made some concessions for Nalchik, having postponed indefinitely payment of the basic debt of 271 million rubles.
