Adygeya is country’s second place on grain yield

Grain growers in Adygeya for the third consecutive year in second place in the country in terms of yielding of grain crops, second after Kuban, a Russian newspaper reported. According to the President of the Republic of Adygeya Aslan Tkhakushinov, this region has all the necessary conditions - favorable climate, a stable socio-political situation and the introduction of innovative technologies in the industry.

In the fields of Adygeya work combines modern imported capable to remove 50 hectares of wheat a day. The use of modern technology has significantly accelerated clean, improve quality and, importantly, reduce grain losses. For the first time in many years in the country there is no grain of inferior quality.

In the fields of Krasnogvardeyskoe region recorded this season the highest yield in Adygeya - 49 tons per hectare. During the harvest the farmers of Giaginskiy region produced 118,000 tons of grain, which is third of harvested grain in the country.

Total gross yield of winter and spring cereals, legumes and canola, according to preliminary estimates, amounted to 403.3 thousand tons. Thanks to the abundant precipitation specialists expect a good crop of corn. In addition, the rice located in good condition too. All these cultures, according to analysts, could give a significant yield increase in crops as a whole.

According to Petrov, the total assistance to agriculture over the past year from various levels of the budget is more than 740 million rubles. In 2011, the outline of the local authorities is that the country must receive 800 million rubles. A program of "Social development of the village" go over a hundred million rubles. In addition, the government subsidizes almost all of Adygeya loans that farmers take on current needs or the purchase of equipment and the acquisition of elite seeds. Local authorities said that now the problems with the storage of grain in the republic there: two existing silos in the country last season were not filled completely. In addition, each farm acquired its own or mini-elevator, sheds or closed currents, where the grain can be stored for the winter.

Today Adygeya has self-sufficient bread and cornmeal that is very important for the development of the region's economy. Fifth consecutive year, the republic receives a steady harvest of winter grains, i.e., agro-industrial complex is capable of consistently produce in Adygeya winter crops to ensure food security.
